The "Butterflies of the Lake Baikal CD" contains original keys and over 2000 high resolution digital pictures of all 197 species and many colour forms of Baikalian butterflies.
You will see full-color images of specimens from scientific collection (the wings of each specimen are given from upperside and from underside).
For every species are given the Latin name (with a transcription), author and year of the description, Russian name,
characters of colour, measurements, notes on distribution, type locality,
habitat, flight period, food plants and other.
For a lot of species are given nice scanographies of live caterpillars and chrysalides.
In total this CD-ROM contains 2597 files, from them of the images - 2279, text pages - 307.
